After completing the puppy cut, you may want to blow dry the hair off or rinse them off again with water to remove it.

Using a Switchblade Trimmer with a # 5 steel comb Step 1: De-tangle/remove any mats Step 2: Shampoo/condition Step 3: Dry Step 4: Clip going with the hair on the body and legs only. Step 5: Trim carefully with scissors using scissors in a downward fashion on feet & face. When trimming the belly take care around teats Never pull the skin when clipping or trimming with scissors, for safety's sake This puppy cut is the shortest, suitable for a dog that is about to whelp. I generally use a #4 comb. Sorry about the barrage of "umms" no teleprompter!
